All About Sharjah Indian School

Sharjah Indian School is a Senior Secondary School, Owned and Managed by Indian Association Sharjah. Established in 1979 with 280 pupils and 13 teachers, the school stands as a landmark in the annals of the Indo- UAE friendship. Today after 37 years, the school has a strength of 8,904 students and 459 teachers. The school is approved and licensed by the private Education Department of the Ministry of Education , UAE and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi , India. The school which stands on a plot of land most graciously donated by H.H Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, member of the supreme council and ruler of Sharjah, has a purpose built and magnificent infrastructure.

The aim of the school is to impart education, laying stress on the intellectual, physical, mental, social, aesthetic and moral development of the children. The school thus aims at making its own contribution towards establishing principles of social justice, equality of opportunity, genuine freedom, respect for religious and moral values enshrined in the constitution of India in conformity with the social standard of living and etiquette existing in the U.A.E. With this aim in view, the school gives adequate training for the students to become role models with innovative ideas and vision to work for the betterment of humanity.

Eligibility :-

1-11 – Trained Graduates / Post Graduates with three years of teaching experience in CBSE
Affiliated English Medium School.
12 – Graduates / Post Graduates in Fine Arts and teaching experience in English Medium
School
13 – Graduates with Kinder Garten/ Montessori training of at least one year and teaching
experience in English Medium School.
14 – Graduates / Post Graduates in Nursing with relevant experience and MOH License for
Nurse.
15 & 16 – Student Counsellor & Psychology Teacher – M.A. Psychology with experience in
English medium school. Clinical Psychology will also be preferred.
17 – Graduates / Post Graduates in Mechanical Engineering with three years of teaching
experience in CBSE Affiliated English Medium School.
18 – Graduates / Post Graduates in Computer Science (B.Sc. /B.E / B.Tech / M.Sc. / MCA with
B.Sc.-Computer Science)
19 – Trained Graduates / Post Graduates in Home Science with three years of teaching
experience in CBSE Affiliated English Medium School.
Preference will be given to the candidates with excellent communication skills and computer
proficiency for all posts.
SPEA approved teachers will be preferred.
Graduation, Post-Graduation, B.Ed and B.PEd / M.PEd etc. from regular colleges ONLY will be eligible.
Courses done as distant education and from parallel colleges will not be consider.
